Terms and conditions
Clear agreements start with the right conditions. New business projects use the OOA conditions. Private projects use the DUID. conditions.
This page is an English explanation, not a translation or replacement of the full contractual conditions. The linked documents are in Dutch. The applicable version is provided with your proposal before you agree. If you need English contractual documents, please discuss this before entering into a project. A website update does not automatically change an existing agreement.
Business projects: OOA
For new projects undertaken for your business, organisation or profession, DUID. applies the General Conditions of the Orde van organisatiekundigen en -adviseurs, December 2022 version. You receive these with the proposal before acceptance.
The PDF is hosted by OOA and contains the complete, unchanged conditions. DUID.’s private-client conditions do not apply alongside them.
The OOA conditions include a 30-day payment period, provisions about included expenses and limitations of liability. Read the complete document together with the proposal. Using these conditions does not establish OOA membership or insurance coverage. Existing projects retain their previously agreed conditions.
Private projects: DUID.
For an individual commissioning advice outside their business or profession, DUID. uses its version 1.0 conditions dated 12 September 2026. These retain the existing provisions on withdrawal, payment and statutory liability. The client’s identity and role are agreed in advance. Advice to an employee is not automatically a consumer project, and the person paying does not alone determine this.
The consumer conditions normally provide for proposals valid for 30 days and payment within 14 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed. They contain no general exclusion of liability or contractual maximum. No insurance coverage is promised.
Where statutory withdrawal rights apply to a consumer distance or off-premises contract, the withdrawal period is 14 days after conclusion. Starting during that period requires an express request and prior information. Loss of the right after full performance requires the legally necessary express consent and acknowledgement. Acceptance of general conditions alone is not a request to start immediately.
You may withdraw by an unambiguous email or postal statement identifying the project. No reason or identity document is required. The optional model form is available below. Statutory exceptions and extensions remain applicable. Repayment is normally due within 14 days after receipt of withdrawal, subject to any proportionate payment lawfully due for services already performed.

The proposal defines scope, deliverables, planning, price, payment and any travel or parking expenses. Changes and additional paid work require prior agreement. Conversations may take place by phone, online or at your location. The registered address does not receive visitors.
DUID. provides careful professional advice and the agreed deliverables. Admission, exemptions, accreditation, certification and other decisions of third parties remain with those parties. Advice does not guarantee savings or a third party’s decision. The client remains responsible for their decisions, without removing DUID.’s responsibility for sound advice.
Necessary information and system permissions are agreed in advance. Personal data processing for a client may require a separate processing agreement. Employer-funded advice does not automatically authorise sharing personal conversation notes with that employer. See the privacy notice.
For the private-client conditions, receipt of a complaint is acknowledged within 5 working days and a substantive response is provided within 14 days. If more time is needed, an explanation and expected response date are given within that period. Statutory rights and the legally competent courts remain available.
